CALBIO2012 Registration Policies
All Registrations Include the Following:
Excluding exhibit only passes
- Access to all plenary and track sessions
- Access to exhibit hall
- All meal functions during conference hours
- All networking receptions on March 8 – 9, 2012
Partnering Forum Access
- Partnering forum access includes online access to the partnering system for pre-scheduling of one-on-one meetings

- Qualified Investors*
- Foundation Executives/Representatives
*Qualified Investors are public and private equity investors whose primary activity is direct investment in research and development companies, or research analysts from investment banks focused on investment in the life sciences sector.
Paid Access:
- Service Providers** may purchase partnering forum access for a fee of $750.00 per person
**Service Providers are employees of corporations or other entities that provide services or products to companies including investment and merchant bankers and representatives of law, accounting, consulting, real estate development, and economic development organizations.
Discount Registration Fees:
- Member Rates: Your Company must be a BayBio or BIOCOM member in good standing at the time of registration in order to receive the discounted member rate.
The Following Registration Fees Require Approval:
PLEASE NOTE: Qualified registrants will receive a discount code upon approval. You must complete your registration online using the discount code provided. Discount codes are specific to each individual. Discount registration fees and codes will expire at close of registration on Feb. 24, 2012. Discount registration fees are not available on-site.
- Government, NGO, and Non-Profit: Please submit a request via email to registration@baybio.org from your .gov or .org email address. Request must include the name of your organization and a link to your organization’s website. Further documentation may be required upon request.
- Student/Academic: You must be currently enrolled or teach at an accredited academic institution. Please submit a request via email to registration@baybio.org including the name of the academic institution along with a copy of your student/teacher ID or proof of employment
- Company Group Rates: All individuals must be employees of the same organization and register at the same time with one payment (check or credit card). Additional attendees from the same company will receive the same discounted rate. No restrictions on company type.

- Qualified Investors: This complimentary conference registration option is available to public and private equity investors whose primary activity is direct investment in research and development companies, or research analysts from investment banks focused on investment in the life sciences sector. Each investor must submit a completed investor registration request form to registration@baybio.org on or before Friday, February 24, 2012. Incomplete forms will not be considered.
Additional Registration Policies:
- Full Conference: Registration is for full two-day conference only; One-day registrations are not available
- Conference Registration/Badges: One per Individual for the duration of the conference; Registrations/Badges may not be shared
- Refunds: CALBIO2012 does not offer a refund or credit toward future events; All sales are final.
- Substitutions:
- You may transfer your registration to another individual free of charge by clicking on the link below until 5:00PM on February 24th.
- Substitutions received after close of registration may be processed onsite for an additional fee
- No substitutions will be allowed once original badge has been issued on-site
- Substitute attendees that do not know the name of the individual they are replacing must pay the full conference rate in order to be admitted.

Onsite Check-in & Security:
- Identification: A current government issued photo ID (driver’s license or passport) is required at check-in.
- Conference Badge: Must be visible at all times. No one will be allowed into the conference or showroom floor without a name badge. *No Exceptions*
- Conference Access: CALBIO2012 management reserves the right to refuse conference entrance to any individual
Administration Fees:
- Badge Reprint/Replacement: $50.00 each (including lost/stolen badges)
- On-site Transfers/Substitutions: $100.00 each
