BHRN - Biotech Human Resources Network
Steering Committee: A committe of five members is currently leading the efforts of BHRN. Steering Committee members include Matt Bove/Plexxikon, Kristina Hathaway/Ingenuity,Tania Philipp/Sunesis, Frank Spada/CoTherix, and Karen Wolfram/Genencor.

Mission : To provide members with information, resources, and a network to promote excellence in the human resources profession and in Bay Area life science companies.
Membership Criteria : BHRN members represent three categories of human resource professionals: current HR employees, consultants, and contract recruiters.
SHRG - Senior Human Resources Group

Membership Chair: Lynn Hughes, Genelabs
Mission: To promote excellence, leadership and guidance in the human resources profession and in Bay Area life science companies by providing Human Resource Executives with strategically-focused information, resources, networking, professional development and community outreach opportunities.
Membership Criteria: SHRG members are in-house practitioners or consultants who work as a strategic advisor to the executive team and as the key HR decision maker within an organization. Generally members have 10 plus years of experience and typically would have the title of Vice President, Senior Director or Director.
