About the BayBio Institute
The BayBio Institute is a non-profit 501(c)(3) charitable organization operating continuously in Northern California since 1990.
The BayBio Institute serves the life science community in the region primarily through activities in four major areas:
- Best Practice Dialogues:
The BayBio Institute supports peer networking and best practices discussion serving Northern California’s bioscience community. An expanding set of peer groups serve members and the life science community at large in the region. These peer groups highlight the experience of successful industry executives and emphasize the high standards set by Northern California’s finest life science organizations. - Workforce: Northern California’s life science community continues to grow. With success, the region continues to expand its educational offerings in support of future life science employees. For more information click here.
- Science Education: The Institute offers a nexus between educators, industry and additional resources to bring together stakeholders who share a commitment to encourage young adults considering biotechnology career paths, and to improve life science education in Northern California schools.
The BayBio Institute is supported by grants, gifts, and sponsorships. Plans are available to allow your company to establish matching gift programs for employees. Gifts of stock and equipment are also of interest to the Institute in support of educational partners.
