The BayBio Institute’s Education & Outreach Initiative mobilizes professionals, educators, organizations and companies who share a commitment to making the life sciences accessible to every citizen in Northern California. This multi-media Initiative includes in-school services, platforms for strategic community engagement, and television spotlights that together aim to elevate support for life science education throughout the region. Our current programs include:
to facilitate the strategic engagement of life science volunteers in education-supporting activities
to inspire and recognize emerging young scientists through a regional and international competition
a television campaign that will showcase the people, companies and innovations behind the vital life sciences industry
to bring increased awareness to Northern California middle- and high-school students, teachers and guidance counselors, of the career opportunities and pathways in the life sciences
