Welcome to the BayBio Institute

The BayBio Institute is a non-profit 501(c)(3) charitable organization operating continuously in Northern California since 1990. The BayBio Institute serves the life science community in the region primarily through activities in four major areas:

The BayBio Institute is supported by grants, gifts, and sponsorships. Plans are available to allow your company to establish matching gift programs for employees. Gifts of stock and equipment are also of interest to the Institute in support of educational partners.

EVENTS:

May 20, 2008: The First Annual BayBio Institute Classic
The First Annual BayBio Institute Classic, a golf tournament benefitting the non-profit 501(c)(3) BayBio Institute, will be held on Tuesday, May 20th.  Immediately preceding the tenth annual C21 BioVentures, the Classic will offer participants the chance to network with peers and benefit the BayBio Institute and k-12 science education in Northern California at the same time. Take advantage of charitable giving tax benefits and enjoy a course that Golf Digest gave 4 Stars: Chardonnay Golf Club in Napa.  Tournament fees will be $225 for individuals and $800 for a foursome.  Sponsorship opportunities are available. October 16, 2008: Sixth Annual Life Sciences Investor & Entrepreneur Rountables
This unique event is free to investors and is designed to foster introductions, conversations, brief pitches, and new relationships between bioscience entrepreneurs and investors. Summer, 2008: BioBQ 2008
Join us for the BayBioNEST annual BioBQ this summer and network with life science researchers to get an early look at the work that will spawn the next generation of life science success stories. Enjoy extensive BBQ and beverages, bring plenty of business cards and enjoy an evening with your colleagues: industry executives, bioentrepreneurs, researchers and faculty, life science practice professionals, financiers and service providers.
