Now, qualified life science companies have access to a group health insurance plan that offers the preferred rates and security advantages of a large group. Beyond Benefits provides choice, flexibility and efficiency, coupled with the superior customer service and value-added resources Barney & Barney has prided themselves on for over a century.
Beyond Access
Current BayBio or BIOCOM life science industry members are eligible to join

- Anthem – Medical, 5 plan choices

Anthem Life and Disability with embedded Employee Assistance plan
- Can continue your current Life/Disability but some discounts will not apply
- Delta Dental – Dental, 6 plan choices
- Anthem – Vision, 6 plan choices
Kaiser plans will be available as an additional option, but without the discounts and other large group advantages associated with the Anthem plan.

- Composite Rates – Not Age-Based Rates
- Simplified Administration – One invoice for all plans within the trust
- Simplified Service – One contact for all plans

Underwriting Rules:
- Must have five full time employees
- Must complete risk questionnaire
- If you have Anthem currently and have over 50 employees on the plan Barney & Barney must be your Broker before you will be eligible for a quote
