Accelerated Clinical Trials

Sponsored by:
Alquest Spacer MX Magazine Spacer Chwartz Communications
With Support From:
Cooley Spacer SJ Business Journal

Clinical trials are the most expensive step in bringing a new product to market, and time is the single largest clinical cost. It is arguably the most precious resource of any medical device company. Shortening time-to-market, then, is critical, and especially so in our current unforgiving market. Our panel will discuss “tricks of the trade” to help streamline trials, build value and shorten time-to-market. We’ll discuss pros and cons of strategic offshore outsourcing, use of specialty recruitment accelerators, and proactive measures in anticipating obstacles and eliminating bottlenecks, and other means of maintaining forward momentum.

Moderator:
John Ryan
Partner, Medical Technology, ONSET Ventures

Panel Speakers:
Rachel Croft
Vice President of Marketing, Satiety, Inc.

Ann Quinlan-Smith
President, Alquest, Inc.

Carl Simpson
Managing Director, Coronis Medical Ventures, LLC
