All confirmed conference speakers are automatically registered for the conference. All conference speakers receive complimentary admission to Gene Acres 2006 conference. This conference admission is non-transferable.
Please arrive on-site no later than 1 (one) hour prior to your scheduled presentation.
To obtain your conference credentials, you will need to check-in with a BayBio representative at the speaker registration table, located in the Marina Room on the second level of the Marriott hotel.
The Marina Room also will serve as a Speaker-Ready Room throughout the day. This room can be utilized by the speakers to go over panel format and rehearsal of their presentations. A laptop, overhead projector and a screen will be provided, should you need to run through individual presentations.
Each conference session location will be equipped with a laptop (PC), laser pointer, overhead projector, a screen and microphones.
If you plan on using a PowerPoint presentation, you need to submit your PowerPoint presentation via email to misha@baybio.org by 5:00 pm PST on Friday, September 15, 2006. We recommend that you bring a back-up copy of your presentation on a CD or a memory card-type device (USB).
BayBio would like to make all conference presentations available to the attendees in an electronic format after the conference, so please fill out and send us your consent form).
Speakers are requested to submit a short bio (250 words or less) and a photo (JPEG or TIFF resolution 300dpi or higher) to be included in the printed program. In order to be included in the printed program, please e-mail misha@baybio.org no later than 5:00 pm PST on Friday, September 1, 2006.
Speakers are requested to fill out a Speaker Information & Authorization Form.
