Please arrive on-site no later than 1 (one) hour prior to your scheduled presentation.
To obtain your conference credentials, you will need to check-in with a BayBio representative at the speaker registration table, located in the Marina Room on the second level of the Marriott.
The Marina Room also will serve as a Speaker-Ready Room throughout the day. This room can be utilized by the speakers to go over panel format and rehearsal of their presentations. A laptop, overhead projector and a screen will be provided, should you need to run through individual presentations.
Each conference session location will be equipped with a laptop (PC), overhead projector, a screen and microphones.
If you plan on using a PowerPoint presentation, in order to avoid technical glitches, incompatibility issues and for your convenience, your presentation will be pre-loaded on a PC laptop that BayBio will provide. Therefore, you need to submit your PowerPoint presentation via email to misha@baybio.org by 5:00 pm California on Thursday, September 22, 2005,. We also advise you to bring a back-up copy of your presentation with you on a CD or a memory card-type device (USB).
BayBio would like to make all conference presentations available to the attendees in an electronic format after the conference, so please fill out and send us your consent form) Thus, we request that you use only a limited number of, or no, paper hand-outs during your presentation.
Speakers are requested to fill out a Speaker Information & Authorization Form. Conference speakers are welcome to attend conference functions throughout the day.
