Intelligent Choices in Breast Cancer

Sponsored by:
Campbell Alliance Spacer Chwartz Communications

Breast cancer survivors are the single largest group of cancer survivors in the U.S. Today, as a result of many advances in treatment, a person who is diagnosed with breast cancer in the earliest stages has a 98 percent chance of living at least five more years. However, according to the National Institutes of Health (NIH), breast cancer affects one in eight women during their lifetime, killing more women in the U.S. than any other cancer with the exception of lung cancer. With the prevalence of breast cancer increasing steadily, many companies in Northern California’s thriving life sciences industry are focusing their efforts on developing innovative treatments for the disease. Please join us to learn more about their product development efforts and the impact they hope to have on the treatment of breast cancer.
