With Congress pushing forward with broad based healthcare reform, it is more important than ever for device manufacturers to plan their reimbursement strategy accordingly. Lawmakers are currently looking to substantially modify the various Medicare payment policies affecting device manufacturers including reimbursement for inpatient and outpatient procedures, durable medical equipment and ambulatory surgical centers.
