BayBio:IMPACT There are currently 233 treatments and cures in phase III in California's pipeline and companies are expected to invest $50 billion in new facilities, equipment and employees. California’s influential federal legislative leaders are receptive to their local constituents on several issues including healthcare and patent reform, giving BayBio a disproportionate influence over these affairs. In addition, the state's local elected officals are making a consious effort to capture this unprecedented opportunity. At the launch of BayBio: IMPACT 2010, life sciences leaders will present a strategic action plan to capture this massive investment in the State of California. The BayBio: IMPACT report is the preeminent, in-depth report on the state of California's life sciences industry and its productivity. No other report measures the number of treatments, cures and technologies measured in BayBio: IMPACT and no other comprehensive report identifies each company and its development pipeline. At the launch event during JP Morgan, life sciences executives will provide a perspective on innovation and the challenges of developing new treatments and cures in California.
