W. David Henner
W. David Henner, MD, PhD, serves as chief medical officer for Pathwork Diagnostics, where he will provide clinical and medical leadership for the company’s clinical pipeline development, thought leader development, collaborations and clinical study design. Dr. Henner brings 25 years of significant scientific, clinical and industry experience to the company. Prior to Pathwork, Dr. Henner was vice president of oncology at Novacea, Inc., a biopharmaceutical company, where he oversaw clinical development of the company’s lead product candidates. Prior to that, he was vice president for clinical research and development at Telik, Inc., where he was responsible for conducting clinical trials of the company’s oncology drug candidates. Dr. Henner began his career on the faculty at Harvard Medical School and the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute from 1982 to 1988. From 1988 to 2001, Dr. Henner served as professor of medicine and pharmacology at Oregon Health & Science University, where he conducted research on anti-cancer drugs and practiced medical oncology. Dr. Henner has published more than 70 papers and has been issued three U.S. patents for his discoveries. He received his MD and PhD in microbiology from the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Henner completed his medical residency at the University of Chicago Hospital and his clinical fellowship in medical oncology at Harvard Medical School and the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. He also holds an MBA from the University of Oregon.

Jeffrey N. Peterson
Jeffrey N. Peterson, CEO, brings broad executive general management, multi-functional, multi-business and international experience to Target Discovery. He spent 9 years in key management roles in Abbott Laboratories’ Diagnostics and International (Pharmaceuticals, Hospital Products, Nutritionals, Consumer) businesses. He most recently served as CEO and General Manager of Abbott South Africa, doubling the sales and tripling the income of this 50 year-old business in 3.5 years, during the tumult of South Africa’s political transition. He played an earlier pivotal management role in Abbott’s successful introduction and support of multiple new diagnostics instrument and reagent systems in the history-making X-System series, including the IMx (the highest global sales diagnostic system in history). Mr. Peterson's experience prior to Abbott included 11 years with General Electric’s Engineered Materials and Plastics businesses, spanning roles in strategic planning, business development, technology licensing, marketing/sales, operations/quality and R&D. Mr. Peterson holds BSChE and MSChE (Chemical Engineering) degrees from MIT. He serves on the Boards of BayBio, the trade association for the life sciences industry in Northern California, and of the BayBio Institute, a non-profit organization serving the regional life science community.

Jill M. Visor
Jill joined Alquest in 2004. A highly accomplished medical device executive, she oversees Alquest’s rapidly growing presence in the San Francisco Bay Area. Jill joined Alquest from Boston Scientific Corporation, where she had served as Director of Enteryx Clinical Research. Previously Jill had been Vice President, Clinical and Regulatory Affairs for Enteric Medical Technologies; Senior Manager of Clinical and Regulatory Affairs for Metra Biosystems; Senior Development Scientist for Dade-Behring Diagnostics; and Raw Material Chemist for Monoclonal Antibodies, Inc. During her career, Jill established regulatory and clinical strategy and requirements definition for gastroenterology, ultrasound imaging and IVD products. She has planned and managed FDA pre-submission and panel meetings; and developed and obtained clearance/approval for numerous submissions including premarket notifications, IDE applications, PMA applications, IDE supplements and annual reports, and CE Mark technical files. Jill earned a B.S. in Biological Sciences from Florida State University and a M.S. in Pharmaceutical Chemistry from the University of Florida.

Bob Wolfert
Robert L. Wolfert, Ph.D., Executive Vice President & Chief Scientific Officer, has been with diaDexus since November 2000. From May 1999 to October 2000, Dr. Wolfert was Vice President, Research and Development of Atairgin Technologies, a biotechnology company. From April 1984 to April 1999, Dr. Wolfert served in various capacities at Hybritech Incorporated, a diagnostics company, where he most recently held the position of Director of Immunodiagnostics Research. Dr. Wolfert holds a B.A. in Chemistry and Biology from Cornell University and a Ph.D. in Biochemistry and Immunology from Tufts University School of Medicine.
