Ian Malcolm
Prior to taking on this role at Kinetixcs, Ian served as Vice President, Strategic Marketing for Exelixis Inc. where he lead the Marketing, Market Analytics, Investor Relations and Public Relations group and was responsible for repositioning and branding the company and building the corporation’s commercial organization to support the continued growth of Exelixis’ oncology portfolio and to prepare for the launch and sales of the late stage compounds. Previously, he served sanofi-aventis as Head of Oncology New Products and Business Opportunities in Paris, France. Prior to taking on this global responsibility, he was the Senior Director, Global Medical & Marketing and MAX Team Leader for GENASENSE where he lead the global early commercial and marketing team and managed the commercial relationship with partner Genta, Inc. Prior to joining sanofi-aventis, he worked at Advanced Diagnostics Systems, an incubator business within Johnson & Johnson as their Head of Marketing forCellular Diagnostics. While there he developed and drove the overall global commercial strategy and tactics for this novel cancer diagnostic technology. Prior to working at J&J, he spent five years as Product Director & Brand Team Leader at Novartis Oncology where I was responsible for leading US strategy and tactics and launching FEMARA. Previously, he worked for Lederle International as Global Product Manager, Oncology.
