Program Manager for Entrepreneurship, BayBio Institute

Jessica has a solid background in non-profit organizations beginning with her time at the Barcelona International Television Festival where she acted as International Public Relations Coordinator. Responsible for procuring participation from international film studios and television networks, she successfully obtained participation and an award for a participating film from the United Nations. Later, she joined Trifolium Foundation where she began as Research Coordinator and was later promoted to Campaign Manager for a pet anti-abandonment campaign.

She joined ARES Corporation after moving to the Bay Area as Marketing Assistant to the Director of Marketing. Following that, Jessica embarked on a series of entrepreneurial activities. She wrote several short stories and a novel after taking several courses at Stanford University. Later she founded Delamar Designs and launched her line of semi-precious gems and metal jewelry. She also performed part-time paralegal work for Aiken Kramer & Cummings. In 2007, became involved in the family consulting business, Knowles Crossley Ltd.

She will assist in the BayBio Institute’s efforts to bring programs and services to the life science’s community. Born in Madrid, Spain and of British citizenship, she is bilingual and also speaks moderate French and German. Her university career began in Barcelona, Spain at the European University, and then continued at Richmond University in Richmond, England. In 1999, she earned a merit-based scholarship in California and moved to the Bay Area where she completed her BA in International Business with a 4.0 GPA.
