Brian C. Cunningham
Senior Counsel, Morrison & Foerster LLP

Brian Cunningham is co-chair of Morrison & Foerster’s 130-lawyer Life Sciences Group. Mr. Cunningham brings more than 25 years of experience in the biotech and pharmaceutical fields as a senior executive and as one of the top legal advisors within the biopharmaceutical industry. Prior to joining Morrison & Foerster, Mr. Cunningham spent seven years as vice president, general counsel, and corporate secretary at Genentech; five years as president and COO at Rigel, Inc; and most recently, two years as CEO at Trellis Bioscience, where he was also a member of the board. He currently sits on the board of MacuSight, a privately held therapeutic development company, and is CEO and director of Clerigen Inc., a virtual angel financed gene therapy company. Mr. Cunningham also spent 12 years at Cooley Godward, where he founded and led the life sciences practice and led the health care and patent practices. Mr. Cunningham holds a B.S. in engineering science and a J.D. from Washington University in St. Louis, where, in law school, he was elected to the Order of the Coif and was an editor of the Law Review. Most recently, he attended the Stanford University School of Business, Corporate Governance Institute, and the University of California, Haas School of Business, Global Bioexecutive Program. From 1992 to 1997, he served at various times as an adjunct professor of law at the Santa Clara University School of Law. Mr. Cunningham is a member of the American Bar Association and the American Law Institute. He is admitted to practice in California and Missouri.

Stan S. Fels
Director, Business Development, RoseRyan

Stan Fels has over 25 years of experience in sales and marketing management, business development and training. He is the Director of Business Development and Corporate Training at RoseRyan, and is also a Certified Professional Coach. His specific focus is on the life sciences and technology industry space. His prior experience includes Deloitte, in their Financial Advisory Services practice, which covered areas from Corporate Investigations to Valuation Services. His emphasis was on the technology and life science industry segments. He spent six years with Ernst & Young, in the technology industry group, including several years in the Emerging Growth Markets segment. Stan also had experience at AT&T and other communications companies. During his career, he was involved in the development and deployment of four start-up divisions, two new product introductions and a joint venture with Xerox and American Express. He has a BS and MBA from Cal State University and is a graduate of the Sales Management Program at Columbia University.

Barbara K. Finck, M.D.
Senior VP, Research and Development, and Chief Medical Officer, Osprey Pharmaceuticals, USA, Inc.

Barbara Finck has over 20 years of preclinical and clinical drug development experience in academic and biopharmaceutical settings in multiple therapeutic areas. She received her rheumatology training at University of California, San Francisco, CA, (UCSF) where she studied the effects of CTLA4-Ig (subsequently marketed as Orencia®) in a murine lupus nephritis model. She has held senior level positions in several biopharmaceutical companies including ALZA (medical director for early clinical development of Ditropan-XL®), Immunex (lead medical director for the phase III clinical development of Enbrel® in Rheumatoid Arthritis and Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis), Eos Biotechology (VP, Clinical Development) and PDL Biopharma (VP, Clinical Development).

William J. Garner, M.D.
President and Chief Executive Officer, Urigen Pharmaceuticals, Inc.

William J. Garner, M.D., has served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Urigen since December 2005. Dr. Garner is an experienced entrepreneur. Prior to founding Urigen, Dr. Garner had been the founder and managing director of EGB Advisors, LLC, a pharmaceutical commercialization boutique. Through this entity, Dr. Garner worked on a number of biopharmaceutical business transactions and has raised financing for another company that he founded called Inverseon, Inc., developing a novel therapy for asthma. Before this, Dr. Garner worked in medical affairs at Hoffmann LaRoche in oncology. Prior to Roche, Dr. Garner was in the venture capital department at Paramount Capital Investments in New York City. Dr. Garner has a Master of Public Health from Harvard and received his M.D. degree from New York Medical College. Dr. Garner did residency training in Anatomic Pathology at Columbia-Presbyterian and is currently a licensed physician in the State of New York.
