Anthony Stolis
Anthony Stolis is with Clarkston Consulting, a management and strategy consulting firm focused on life sciences. In his role with Clarkston, Stolis has provided support to life sciences firms on the west coast, both large and small. Stolis also serves on the Board of Directors of BayBio, Northern California’s life sciences association. He currently Chairs the Board’s External Relations Committee. Stolis has been a periodic lecturer at the University of California at Berkeley on the topic of life science cluster creation and has participated as a volunteer for MayBAC – San Francisco Mayor Gavin Newsom’s biotech advisory committee. Previously, Stolis was Managing Director, Pacific Bridge Life Sciences (PBLS). PBLS provided strategic consulting services related to facilities, marketing, sales, and corporate strategy, to life sciences companies and organizations supporting the life sciences industry. In 2004, Stolis co-authored the study, “Patient Capital”, commissioned by the National Venture Capital Association, which examined the process of converting scientific innovation into beneficial diagnostic and therapeutic products. Stolis was also Director, Business Development at Archi-Tech Systems, a provider of decision support tools for life sciences companies. His focus in that role was developing a west coast presence for Archi-Tech. From 2002 through 2003, Stolis was Director of Sales at Acumen Sciences, an advisory firm. In addition to developing the client base among life sciences companies, he also worked with service companies that focus on life sciences, including law firms, venture capital firms, real estate firms, and government entities. Prior to Acumen, Stolis spent 13 years with IMS Health, holding positions in the Sales, Customer Service, Marketing, Product Development, Finance, and Information Technology groups. Stolis has a Masters in Business Administration from Temple University and a Bachelor of Science degree from Drexel University. |
