As life sciences companies grow, and develop new technologies and make new discoveries, and as your life sciences trade association becomes even more responsive to the needs of its members, it is critical to have a proactive voice in Washington representing your views and our collective business interests in Washington as important debates on essential issues affecting biotechnology are addressed in our nation’s capital. Navigating a complex and constantly changing political environment can be difficult for any professional. In the life sciences industry, successfully communicating your company’s issues and concerns can make the difference between success and failure. The BayBioCONNECT Program is an opportunity for you to have the assistance of an experienced and professional team of experts to represent your views and help advance your company’s interests in Washington, DC. Also included in the program will be a regular BLOG that members can use to receive up to date information on developing political and policy issues important to life sciences companies as well as analysis of developments from a highly experienced legal and political advocacy team. The BLOG will contain important information focusing only on critical policy issues. When Congress returns in January, there will be a host of issues relevant to the life sciences industry from patent reform to generic biologics. These issues and other issues will have an impact on the success of many life sciences companies. The BayBioCONNECT Program will be a way to ensure that your company will receive the individual representation you need to be successful. To participate in this program, contact Christopher Draper, Director of Public Policy, at 650-871-7101, ext. 206, or by email at cdraper@baybio.org. |
