BayBio supports the regional bioscience community through networking, advocacy, group purchasing, and communicating the impact of our industry on the community.
Our members include organizations engaged in or supportive of research, development, and commercialization of products derived from living organisms.
Northern California is home to more bioscience companies than any other region in the world. There are approximately 900 companies, employing 90,000 people in our region's bioscience industry. We contribute roughly $5.8 billion in wages to the regional economy, and indirectly employ more than 100,000 additional people.
